Chain Link Quilt Kit
Go Team USA! While we are enjoying the Vancouver Olympics, held just north of us, we've just wrapped up our Janunary quilt shop event, the Winter Winds Shop Hop, and are working hard, preparing for another, the Sewing and Stitchery Expo in Puyallup, Washington. Scroll down for details on this great event.

Geri has been busy purchasing gorgeous new batiks and spring designs and our
Pine Cones have created beautiful fabric bundles and projects for the show. Our current unusually mild winter has us all excited about warming days and blooming daffodils.

News Alert!Gee's Bend Housetop Pattern
Gee's Bend patterns ARE coming! First they were coming and then they weren't. But, Geri was determined, and now we are happy to report we will have them in the store soon.

The interest in using solid colored fabrics, from custom hand dyed to production dyed has increased in the quilting world. We strongly recommend that if you are using hand dyed fabrics, such as the Gee's Bend solids, that you use a product such as "Retayne," a color fixative for dyed cotton fabrics.
Mystery Quilt of Olympic Proportions
